In a statement, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg responded to President Donald Trump’s claims that the social network is against him.

“Trump says Facebook is against him,” Zuckerberg wrote in a post on the social network. “Liberals say we helped Trump. Both sides are upset about ideas and content they don’t like. That’s what running a platform for all ideas looks like.”

“The facts suggest the greatest role Facebook played in the 2016 election was different from what most are saying,” Zuckerberg added, noting that the site ran “‘get out the vote’ efforts that helped as many as 2 million people register to vote.”
........................
“But the data we have has always shown that our broader impact — from giving people a voice to enabling candidates to communicate directly to helping millions of people vote — played a far bigger role in this election,” Zuckerberg concluded.

Which is exactly what you just did. I have found FB to be an excellent tool to keep in touch with family and friends who are scattered all over the globe, from Singapore to New Zealand to Japan. I've reconnected with classmates from my high school in Bogota, Columbia, and with Peace Corps buddies I bonded with in West Africa in the 70s.

But the US government cannot just request thousands of user accounts be shut down like France did.

Zuckerberg will take money from anyone anywhere. His business model is based on inexperience & pure greed. His only concern is for FB's stock price.

since admitted they were far more effective than he assumed. The Russians by-passed Facebook controls and targeted tens of thousands of receptive people with fake news and disinformation about Trump (positive) and Clinton (negative) during the election. The same cannot be said of ads for Clinton. Zuckerberg just can't come clean on this because he's so invested in FB's success.

So "little hand" think Facebook is against him now?.. The man is really nuts, and paranoid, and will do terrible damage to the US before he is stopped... The fact he, and his loyalists used the facebook for whatever it was worth does not count now, as more and more of the world see him as he is - a mad man with the key to the nuclear weapons

“Trump says Facebook is against him,” Zuckerberg wrote in a post on the social network. “Liberals say we helped Trump."

trumpft is a known liar. And the fact prove that the ads were targeted against the democratic candidate.

Ya, both sides of any argument are equal.
