Trump tells Puerto Rico residents: Do not believe the fake news

Source: The Hill

President Trump warned Puerto Ricans to ignore the "fake news" media on Saturday as much of the island remains flooded and millions are without power and basic supplies.

In a series of tweets Saturday afternoon, Trump ripped "fake news critics" who are "working overtime" to attack his administration while "the people that truly matter" give his team high marks.

"To the people of Puerto Rico: Do not believe the #FakeNews!" Trump tweeted. "My Administration, Governor @RicardoRossello, and many others are working together to help the people of Puerto Rico in every way...#FakeNews critics are working overtime, but we're getting great marks from the people that truly matter!"

The tweets come after White House denial of a Washington Post report this weekend that claimed the administration "went dark" for four days last week after the president left for his resort in Bedminster, N.J., spurring critics who have already ripped the administration's disaster response.

THEY HAVE NO POWER, and if they did they wouldn't be obsessing over twitter, like Herr Twitler does.

I've yet to see anyone from his administration make a statement in Spanish.

When Houston was dealing with Harvey and its aftermath, the mayor was having at least 2 press conferences a day in English, Spanish and sign language.

And they are living the experience, all they know is what’s in front of them.
Why & how would they listen and believe someone 1800 miles away?

That's gonna work well.

Like grantcart says, you ain't seen nothin' yet. There are horrors in Puerto Rico yet to be reported.

Meanwhile, CONservative web sites, forums, and blogs are mostly silent about P.R. That means even they don't quite know how to like or spin tRump disastrous response to the disaster.

They don't believe in fake news.

What they believe for sure, and they are not the only ones, is that the current Ovale Office squatter, is a fake president...

will this agonizing national nightmare come to an end. Shit that sent reasonable minds reeling a few months ago now just scores rolled eyeballs or disgusted sighs.

Someone's god help us if he goes full term. My neighbor - who made a big deal about putting up "TEAM TRUMP" signs for my benefit - shot himself, his wife and stepson. Hmmmm.... I wonder if pumpkin head owns a gun?
