Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) tore into President Donald Trump on Tuesday for complaining that the devastation Hurricane Maria left in Puerto Rico has “thrown our budget a little out of whack.”

“I don’t remember the President telling Texas that they threw our budget out of whack after Harvey, or Florida after Irma,” the minority leader told reporters.

Trump made the remark in Puerto Rico Tuesday, but his obsession with the cost of disaster assistance for the territory — and with its existing debt, which is now under the control of a federally appointed Fiscal Oversight Board — has been constant since the storm hit.

“Ultimately the government of Puerto Rico will have to work with us to determine how this massive rebuilding effort — it will end up being one of the biggest ever — will be funded and organized, and what we will do with the tremendous amount of existing debt already on the island,” Trump said Friday.

The "child" of his that's not worth his attention. The child he's "less proud of." The one the rest of his "family" can take from. The scapegoat he can pit against the others to cause chaos.

It's the casino he'll let lapse into bankruptcy. A charity he'll fake-give to. A presence he'll assign a mean nickname to and dismiss. Minorities he'll keep out of sight of his honored white guests.

and to PR itself as he left them with a 30m bill for his bankrupt golf course there.

He's got some nerve talking about debt when he didn't do that with Texas and Florida.

Sorry, but I just can't take it anymore. There was never such a vile, despicable person who has no brain and zero heart or caring in his grossly fat disgusting shell of a seemingly human body. I'm so freaking frustrated with both him and the news. WTF does all the talk about the shooting do - zero, zip, zilch, nada. Repugs love people to die and love $ more than they love life so will do absolutely nothing at all except make it more likely that next time instead of 59 dead it could be thousands. The sounds of the gun are what alerted everyone, absent that, the deaths skyrocket. So WTF good does it do having this on the news when it solves or changes nothing.

The people in PR are still alive! There is stuff we can do to help them that's not getting done and that's been totally pushed off the table. The news orgs aren't going where the worst devastation is, they are just reporting from San Juan, which even there is damn desperate. They aren't reporting the bodies in the hospital morgues, the police buried under mudslides, the nursing home residents who were all killed.

WTF is happening here, it's just beyond belief.
