According to The New Yorker, the bad blood between the head of the State Department and his top overseas emissary has to do with the latter’s success in Asian diplomacy.

“The most significant achievement of Trump’s foreign policy—the tightening of economic sanctions against North Korea—was accomplished largely by Haley,” the report continued.

Tillerson, on the other hand, was angered by his subordinate’s propensity for “bringing home the bacon.”

If Tillerson is failing, then Nikki Haley is failing. They are both part of Trump's foreign policy apparatus, which is horrible. Indeed, all she does is grand stand and occasionally go rogue on issues relating to Russia.

Big Clue: No one is mentioning her as a replacement for Tillerson, because everyone knows that she is going to grand stand for her own personal political benefit.
