I'm surprised we haven't been able to both invent warp drive AND bring Jesus back to Earth.

they can't give any thought towards anything else. They must conserve their thoughts of course. Same with prayers

which is right across the street from the Natural History Museum--one Saturday in
January 2016-- when we were in London. My husband had gone off on his own day trip.

I was amazed at the number of families--people with little children and babies/toddlers in strollers--that were
waiting in line to gain entrance to the Natural History Museum.

There could have been a lot of small children who might have been victims if this was indeed a terrorist attack.

Before guns, we had swords. Before swords, we had rocks. Take away guns, you'll have knives, cars, fertilizer explosives. Guns just make the killing easier for the murderers. Because guns are not the problem. Humanity is the problem.
It's never going to end. I believe after the apocalypse, there is going to be a time where there are just 2 people left in the world. And one of them is going to kill the other.

and is why focusing solely on guns is myopic. If nothing is done to address the causes, the means simply shifts to other weapons.

I'm anti-humanity. I honestly don't care about guns. Gather each of them up and put them in a huge fire. Throw them out into space. Make possessing one punishable by death. Sounds good to me.
Someone's going to pick up a sharp rock and split the skull of another person. Murder will never go away. It'll just take a little more skill.

who should be ignored. As can be seen by them retweeting Tommy Robinson, or the approving tweet of "Romanian patriots destroy Muslim call to prayer in opera by singing national anthem" (a few Romanians in an audience tried to sing their national anthem, extremely tunelessly, over a section of a choral work, written in 2000, that features a Muslim call to prayer). Look at their Twitter page, and it suggests you follow Tommy Robinson, a far right English agitator, or Paul Joseph Watson, the British employee of Infowars. Best not to give them any links.

From the BBC:

Several people have been injured after a car hit pedestrians near the Natural History Museum in London, police say.

The Metropolitan Police said one person had been detained following the incident at 14:20 BST in Exhibition Road in South Kensington.

Video footage that emerged on Twitter showed a man being restrained on the ground.

A BBC reporter at the scene said she had been told by police that the injuries were minor.

A crash outside a London museum that injured 11 people was not terror-related, police say.

A car mounted the pavement outside the Natural History Museum in Exhibition Road, South Kensington, at 14:20 BST.

The Metropolitan Police earlier said one person had been arrested and video footage that emerged on Twitter showed a man being restrained on the ground.

An update from the force said the incident was now being treated as "a road traffic collision".
