Alabama GOP Senate candidate says son's arrest is a 'cheap political trick'
By KARMA ALLEN Oct 11, 2017, 1:20 AM ET

The son of Republican U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore was arrested Monday in Alabama on a misdemeanor charge linked to allegations of illegal hunting, according to police.

Caleb Moore, 27, turned himself into the Etowah County Jail in Gadsden and was charged with third-degree criminal trespassing, authorities said.

. . .

He was released on $1,000 bond just minutes after the arrest, according to county records.

This is reportedly the ninth time Caleb Moore has been arrested.

3. The "ninth time" Junior has been arrested?

At 27 he's already been arrested nine times and Daddy thinks it is politically motivated? No wonder Caleb stays in trouble, I bet Judge Daddy intervenes every time. Poor prognosis for that adult child of a Repug.

Either in the past the good old boys network has just let him go because he's Moore's son or daddy has spoken to the arresting officer and asked him to show some Christian mercy. I can practically hear the words "Do you know who I am?" coming from Caleb's mouth. And that would be enough for a lot of people in a state like AL and the South where the relationships between the political elite are far more important that the actual law.

This builds up a history of never having real consequences for his actions. That will lead to a rather poor set of values.

5. How could they even consider arresting the guy?

Especially when it's for something as trivial as breaking the law. After all, he's white and it's Alabama. What WERE they thinking?

7. Is Moore trying to portray himself as a law and order candidate? I sure hope not.

I'm not sure how much hay Jones should make over this latest incident with Moore's son. Still, it suggests Moore needs to re-evaluate what is important in his life - self-aggrandizement or helping his family.

If his son breaks the law, it's because the libbruls made him do it. A good Christian like Moore, Jr. would never do anything bad of his own free will. Therefore he is innocent, and daddy is still an upstanding hardline law and order candidate.

Kinda late to be pulling out the "cheap political trick" defense---but I'm sure Roy Moore's dumbfuck supporters will buy into it.

Out there everyday in all kinds of weather just making sure peeps follow some simple rules in hunting, fishing etc. BUT, when some white boy who has a dad running for office an arrest becomes a "cheap political trick" and they SHOULD have known to look the other way.

Yeah!! Same with the rest of you who arrested Junior EIGHT other times.
