Source: MSN/The Hill
President Trump's campaign spent $1.1 million on legal fees over the past three months as the probe into alleged ties between the campaign and Russian election meddling intensifies, according to Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings.
The campaign paid $237,924 to the law firm of Alan Futerfas, who has represented Donald Trump Jr. in the ongoing probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.
Williams and Jensen, which employs Karina Lynch, who is also representing Trump Jr., received $30,000 from the campaign over the past past three months. The Hill has reached out to Futerfas and Lynch for comment.
Additionally, the Trump campaign shelled out $802,185 to the law firm Jones Day. The campaign also paid the Trump Corporation $25,885 for what it referred to as "legal consulting."

(3,322 posts)I'm sure the staffers at the WH that are having to pay for their attorney fees themselves find it galling that the campaign is picking up the tab for junior and Cheetolini. Mueller is going to interview anyone who may be a witness to obstruction re: Comey, crafting Junior's statement about the Trump Tower/Russian "adoption" meeting and anything else they witnessed or meetings they took part in re: Russia, and they will need good legal representation. In D.C. that gets pricey.
What a gigantic "fucque you" from the very wealthy Trump family to the staffers who have been nothing but loyal to these shitheels! Not that I feel real sorry for the Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Stephen Miller's of the world; I hope it bankrupts them all!! Let them have to sign up for Obamacare when they're jobless and broke, only to realize, oops! No subsidies for the poor to help them pay for their monthly premiums.
