President Trump on Monday blasted ObamaCare, saying it is "dead" and "finished."

"ObamaCare is finished. It's dead. It's gone," Trump said Monday.

"You shouldn't even mention it, it's gone. There is no such thing as ObamaCare anymore. It is a — and I said this years ago — it's a concept that couldn't have worked."

working on this for over 30 yrs. It didn't just happen that the scum of the earth rose to power. We are not built to hate our fellow Americans who are minorities. We have been jerked around by our emotions and played by our fears, and constantly lied to. They have been changing laws to ease their way into stealing our democracy. They have taken the things we love and twisted their meaning so we have trouble defending their worth.

Sorry, I am ranting, but I have seen this coming and I have to respond to "how did we get here".

I want the Fairness Doctrine reestablished so lies will not pass as news.

There must be accountability for want is put out there as the truth.I have faith that our people will not succumb to this treachery when they are given the truth.

I hope that I am wrong and that it is our national enemies like Russia and not the wealthy of our own country who have set this upon us.

Nor does he have an ounce of empathy, which is needed to understand how someone will react in a time of need.

This isn't like promoting a hotel. It's life and death, and the people who are in charge of 100% of the federal government will be blamed.

The only silver lining, and I know that's a horrible thing to say, is that Obamacare is still the law of the land, such that a future President can put it back together without needing to wait for Congress.

Whining that they are not getting anything done because the dems will not co-operate with them. Standing next to him was
McConnell who famously said when Obama got elected the rethugs would do everything they could to make him fail.
I wonder why someone does not bring this up and ask McConnell if he remembers his meeting on the night of Obama's win.

In its first year, Obamacare did work, you fat charleton. I was on it for 3 months during a layoff and the price was $22 LESS than what my employer took out each month before and after I went back to work for them for the EXACT SAME coverage.

I can't live w/o my diabetes meds, and without the subsidies this fat fuck just signed away, I won't be able to afford the insurance I need to pay for them and I will slowly DIE. If my relapse-remit MS comes back, I'll get sicker even sooner.

I do not believe you can legally overturn an Act of Congress by executive order. This isn’t like Trump setting aside one of Obama’s EOs; rather, it is an attempt to repeal a properly passed statute via unilateral action.

Here is the problem we all face. The states are currently fixin’ ta sue the Trump administration over this illegal EO. This is going to wind up in the Supreme Court. If the states win, the Trump presidency is effectively over; because he won’t have anything to do (mainly because Congress will simply go into caretaker mode until February 2019) he’ll just retreat to one of his golf courses and tweetstorm the NFL, Congress, Hillary or whatever suits his fancy. If Trump wins, the United States of America is effectively over because we’ll have changed our government’s basis from Consent of the Governed to Divine Right of the King.

I realize Trump picked Gorsuch for just such an eventuality, but Gorsuch will have to vote to slap down King Don...because in the final analysis, you cannot do what Trump did and get away with it.
