Sen. Angus King (I-Maine) on Sunday refuted President Trumps claim earlier in the week that its commonly agreed he didnt collude with Russia.
Its certainly not commonly agreed in our committee, and were the ones doing the investigation. So I dont think he has any basis for that statement, King told CNNs Jake Tapper.
King sits on the Senate Intelligence Committee, which is conducting an investigation into possible Russian interference in the 2016 election as well as alleged collusion between Trump and the Kremlin. The Senate Judiciary Committee is conducting a ] investigation into the election. There's a lot of work to be done, a lot of leads to be followed, a lot of witnesses to be interviewed, and its way premature to say some kind of conclusion has been reached, King said.
A federal grand jury has approved the first charges in Special Counsel Muellers investigation into Russian intereference in the election, CNN reported Friday. Those charged could be taken into custody as soon as Monday, though its unclear what the charges are as they are sealed until then.

They are bald-faced lies.
