CMA Awards Ban Questions About Las Vegas Shooting, Politics

Country Music Association (CMA) Awards host Brad Paisley is calling on organizers to rescind ridiculous guidelines that prohibited journalists from asking entertainers about politics and guns.
The Heaven South singer who's co-hosting the show along with Carrie Underwood wrote to his more than 4 million followers on Twitter on Friday:

4 hours after this story broke, The Hill reported: The Country Music Association is reversing its decision to bar journalists from questioning attendees of its upcoming award show about the Las Vegas shooting and gun-control issues.
The CMA made the announcement in a statement to CNN on Friday after facing backlash from critics, including this year's host, singer Brad Paisley.

(2,957 posts)...all boycott the CMAA awards. The press area would have, like, three media organizations there and a bunch of empty tables and internet that hardly gets used. There'd be little news the next morning about the CMAA awards other than just a rundown of the winners, and all mentions of the CMAA would expire or would tick below the fold by midday. By mid-December, 85% of America would be asking "have the CMAA awards happened yet? I must have missed it."
That's how you handle this, instead of yelling about the politics of it.
