Memo Reveals Details of Hillary Clinton-DNC Deal

Source: NBC NEWS

WASHINGTON — The Democratic National Committee struck a deal with Hillary Clinton in 2015 that gave her campaign input on some party staffing and spending decisions, but only related to the general election and allowing other candidates to make similar arrangements, according to a memo obtained by NBC News.
The document provides more context to the explosive claims made by former DNC Interim Chair Donna Brazile in a forthcoming book, an excerpt of which was published this week.
The August 26, 2015, memorandum of understanding from Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook to DNC CEO Amy Dacey more fully explains the relationship between Clinton and the DNC long before she won her party's nomination.

did not tell the truth. However, even just moments ago on MSNBC they were still going with Donna's doctored version. Her lies are a big big deal.

3. The key to the whole thing:

Specifically, the DNC agreed to hire a communications director from "one of two candidates previously identified as acceptable to HFA." And while the DNC maintained "the authority to make the final decision" on senior staff in the communications, technology and research departments, the party organization said it would choose "between candidates acceptable to HFA."

However, the memo also made clear that the arrangement pertained to only the general election, not the primary season, and it left open the possibility that it would sign similar agreements with other candidates.

I know this is hard for some to understand but this had nothing to do with the primary. St. Bernie lost fair and square. A link to the memorandum is in the article.

Well, confirmation bias has already taken hold, so I doubt this will convince many...

She conveniently left out the first memo from her book. She knew exactly what she was doing.

this "bombshell" initiative book designed to make losers of current Democratic candidates?

8. Why wouldnt they give Hillary some input?

She was THE obvious choice as to who the Democratic candidate was going to be. This was surmised by most of us long before we knew anything about Bernie Sanders.

It was Hillary’s turn at bat.

I definitely consider it a mistake to give a campaign veto authority over key staff hiring in 2015, prior to the holding of a single primary or caucus. My question is: was this power given to the Clinton campaign with the implementation of this agreement in 2015?

Shut it is what I want.

We are sinking. Our world is like the Titanic going down and you want to mention anything like mostly all of this is just what I want to shut up about. It helps Trump. That's all for me right now.

the timing. The DNC leadership was atrocious and now HRC is being blamed AGAIN. This is completely out of line and has gone to damn far. If the Dems can't get their act together we will NEVER get the Congress back.

Tom Perez must get out in front of this load of crap.
