CNN Poll: Trump approval at new low as Russia concerns grow

Source: CNN

Updated 4:01 PM ET, Mon November 6, 2017

Six in 10 think Trump knew last year that campaign associates met with suspected Russian operatives
Declining percentage see Russia investigation as an effort to discredit Trump's presidency
Two-thirds see Russian interference in the 2016 election as a crisis or major problem

WASHINGTON (CNN)Donald Trump's approval rating stands at its lowest point in CNN's polling as concerns about contacts between Trump's presidential campaign and Russian operatives have grown sharply in the wake of the first indictments from the special counsel investigating Russian meddling in the US election.

Overall, just 36% say they approve of the way Trump is handling his job as president, according to a new CNN Poll conducted by SSRS, worse by one percentage point than Trump's previous low of 37%, reached in October. Disapproval has also reached a new high at 58%, with nearly half (48%) saying they strongly disapprove of the way the President is handling his job.

but then, there is that pesky 35% who are with Trump no matter what in raising their taxes, taking away their Civil Rights, taking away their Health Care, and making them even poorer because they are too poorly educated to begin with.

The real problem, I think, is that 80% of corporate America is still behind the grifter-in-chief.

They feel like kids in a candy store, with their favorite uncle in tow ready to buy them whatever they want.

They get the sugar high; we get the bill (and the indigestion).

and has been since Reagan! My family is three generations of die hard Dems and we all agree that it goes back to Reagan as the beginning of the current unethical, immoral GOP mantra.

are putting the screws to Fux News (Hannity and Carlson). They can do it but we can't due to "you know who" from the 80s. He began the framework for decades of BS from the GOP ... 37 years of Reagan instigated crap.

I would have thought that British regulators - and law enforcement - would have come down hard on Murdoch after he was caught using his MI6 contacts to spy on everyone from MPs, to celebrities, and even Queen Elizabeth (!)

Better late than never I suppose.

As far as our dear old FCC, I'm surprised they haven't already banned any and all media to the left of Faux News. You know Ajit Pai wants to.
