Tom Perez: 'I am not talking about impeachment'

Source: The Hill

BY BRETT SAMUELS - 11/12/17 10:34 AM EST

Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairman Tom Perez said Sunday he’s not focusing on impeaching President Trump despite a $10 million ad campaign from a Democratic mega-donor.

“I am not talking about impeachment,” Perez said on ABC’s “This Week.” Martha Raddatz asked Perez about a multi-million-dollar ad campaign by Tom Steyer calling for Trump’s impeachment.

Perez said Steyer can do "whatever he feels he needs to do."

Democratic leaders have been cautious in discussing the possible impeachment of Trump if they gain control of the House.

Everyone knows the red coats are marching toward the colonial lines, but you don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes. In this case the text of Mueller's indictments.

the gun before Mueller has finished his report could complicate things.

Another reason why waiting until the Mueller investigation is complete is because republicans control Congress. It will be the Mueller investigation that will bring the votes that will allow impeachment to proceed

Get a majority of Democrats in the House and Senate, and they'll be on Trump (if he's still around) like shit on stink.

And, as long as he is in office, Repubs look like gangster defenders, which I guess is exactly what they really are.

that we do not. Remember the meetings that they had right after inauguration when they came out mad as wet hens so much so that some of them couldn't even speak? The wood chipper of justice is working...and while not to the speed of our liking, it is working. We might only have one shot at taking down this group of traitors. We have to make it count.

the impeachment idea. Barbara Boxer said the same I believe on Friday. And yes, people in Congress have more info as to what the real story is,and,it has to be one hell of a nightmarish story.

Something that happened yesterday was very interesting, that being Trump retracting his calling Intel Agencies hacks and liars. Kind of using weasel language saying,I guess there might be some truth to the fact that Putin and Company Hacked our Elections.

Hunch is,couple of Intel people had a sit down with this Egomaniac.

“I am not talking about impeachment" - I'm talking prison, he didn't add.

I favor impeachment because I hate the bastard, but the other side of me says, "Leave him there until after the mid-terms to force a political nuclear winter on the GOP.

and make the moron sit in the corner. His blood pressure would be off the charts.

And, I agree--as a strategic move, wait for Mueller's work to take its course. And don't rile up the morans any more than necessary.

But, down the line, I hope the crimes this administration commits on a daily basis (e.g., violations of the emoluments clause) have consequences and aren't simply swept under the rug as happened with chimpy's reign of error.
