Dem on Sessions' Russia jokes: He 'still doesn't get it'

Source: the hill

By Jesse Byrnes - 11/17/17 08:01 PM EST

Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) slammed Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Friday for joking about whether any Russians were in attendance at one of his speeches in Washington.

"Jeff Sessions still doesn’t get it," Lieu said on CNN's "The Situation Room," calling Sessions' comments inappropriate.

"He is not in trouble because he happened to be in places where there were Russians," Lieu said of the attorney general.

"He is in trouble because he had a nearly hourlong meeting with Ambassador Kislyak – [who] is also a spy – and then he failed to disclose the existence of that meeting under oath to the U.S. Senate."

Sessions joked about connections to Russia before a speech at the conservative Federalist Society convention earlier Friday................................

You can't do what you want. We obey the laws. They obey the laws. Sessions, you little dickweed, if you can't obey the laws of the U.S. get the hell out. We don't need you, we don't want you, you nasty little mushroom.

Little smirking traitor. He sounds like the rooster from cartoons, Foghorn Leghorn, even after all these years in DC. I want to see that smirk wiped from his elfin like face.

My guess, is the only was he will "escape prosecution", is through a "presidential pardon"
Another guess is: Sessions has been assured a "presidential pardon" no matter what..
(as are many others) Very Sad, but completely plausible..

Even above the president, our attorney general should be a shining example of respect for US law and justice, both in their personal and professional lives.

We now have a president, vice president, many cabinet members and an attorney general that believe our laws and system of justice do not apply to them because their holy GOP philosophy trumps all laws and morals.

They must somehow be removed from office ASAP.
