Montana Monument May Expand Under Trump Administration

Source: NPR

"I think the secretary has talked about wanting to come back to Montana after he's done being secretary and potentially run for governor," Tawney says.

Protecting public lands is a big issue in Montana. While Zinke has encouraged mining, drilling and reducing the size of national monuments elsewhere in the country, he's left existing national monuments in Montana alone and he's urged mining bans near Yellowstone National Park.

Those proposals imply Zinke has protected public lands in his home state, according to Tawney.

David Parker, a political scientist at Montana State University, says Zinke may even want to run for president some day.

self-centered POS never does anything that doesn't boot him into a higher position without completing the prior obligation. He's a ladder climber who has left his footprint on many a face as he rises. I'm just glad he's not shrinking the protected lands we already have in Montana. None of it is safe until the Rs are no longer able to destroy it. Simple as that. Once this ecosystem crashes, it will be devastating and permanent in human time.

FUCK YOU ZINKE,

Your a fucking narcissistic asshole just like the sexual predator, that has no idea of the rule of law, you want to know why----------------------you said yes to a sexual predator, that's right, you said yes to a sexual predator--------------you have no fucking principles, and to top it all off you bilked the taxpayers with flights on charter companies when you had the means to travel commercial flights--------

And just a reminder there Zinke--------------you ever hear about the fires in Northern California, some of those lands are national parks and historic sites, your right wing delegation in California doesn't want to spend one dime fixing those parks, but you have the power asshole to get funds into those parks and historic sites----whats your fucking response asshole-------------Montana!

...after Zinke got caught for extravagant travel bills on chartered jets, sometimes accompanied by his wife, one of five probes underway of Cabinet secretaries’ travel, not to mention the "secretarial flag" he demands fly over DoI HQ when "...he is in the building!":

"The Stetson-wearing, Navy SEAL rugged outdoorsman apparently thinks he's Elizabeth Windsor in cowboy drag. That's just too adorable."
