No major change in number of jobs lost to foreign trade since Trump's election: report

Source: The Hill

BY MAX GREENWOOD - 11/30/17 09:50 AM EST

The number of U.S. jobs eliminated due to foreign competition since President Trump's election last year has largely kept pace with previous years, according to a new report.

Citing an analysis of Labor Department data by the labor coalition Good Jobs Nation, HuffPost reported Thursday that more than 93,000 U.S. jobs have been eliminated since Trump's election due to foreign trade.

That's roughly on par with the previous five years, which saw an average of 87,500 jobs per year eliminated.

Workers who lose their jobs due to foreign trade are eligible for Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA), a program that allows them to receive benefits such as subsidized health insurance and extended unemployment benefits.

Okay, Year One and counting.

Now, if the Dotard campaigns on this issue in 3 more years, he DOES qualify as a Republican! All wedge, no solutions.

and this newest report said "93,000 " jobs lost, that is an increase from the 5 year aggregate of 87,000 per year, so since this jerk like to Toot his traitorous horn, while on his watch 6,000 more jobs have been lost----------------

6% increase in jobs lost due to trade is substantial, especially from a fucking guy who intimated that it would stop completely on "day one".

The wall would stop the jobs from escaping. Without a wall his job creators will continue to send jobs overseas until we give them big tax cuts. They even made him have his special Christmas MAGA hats and other products in the Trump store made in Asia. Liberals are spiteful like that.

Meanwhile, watch out for those immigrants sneaking in here and stealing jobs. You might have immigrants at your job right now. Don't be fooled by their American accents and birth certificate, you know what an immigrant looks like. It's not how an American looks like. Never forget.
