President Donald Trump sat down with lawmakers at the White House Wednesday afternoon to discuss gun policy in the wake of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida and Trump appeared to enthusiastically endorse several gun control measures, including a bipartisan gun control bill that failed to pass the Senate during Barack Obamas presidency.
It was a surprising scene, but its not yet clear if Trumps words will translate into policy. Below is a full rush transcript of the meeting at the White House:

I don't doubt that a bit. This transcript could prove useful when he reverts to regurgitating NRA and Republican talking points. The timing may depend on how loud the reaction is from Breitbart, etc., compared to the survivors and supporters.

It's theater. For all the racket the network news made about him "bucking" the NRA and Republicans, he didn't say a thing that will actually make a difference. Raising the age to 21 won't do diddly. Universal background checks may help, but Obama was mentioned as supporting it so TrumPutin will oppose after being reminded. The moron still wants to arm teachers.
