The White House on Monday blasted back at a former campaign aide who sent Washington into a frenzy by saying that hed rather go to jail than comply with a subpoena from the special counsel.
Former Trump campaign aide Sam Nunberg, who was fired for posting racially-charged remarks on social media and was later sued by President Trump for breaking a nondisclosure agreement, said in an interview on NBC that he thinks Trump may have done something illegal during the campaign.
Nunberg said the special counsels line of questioning insinuated to me that [Trump] may have done something wrong. White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders responded, saying Nunberg is incorrect.
I definitely think he doesn't know that for sure because he's incorrect, Sanders said. As we said many times before, there was no collusion with the Trump campaign. Anything further on what his actions are he hasn't worked at the White House. I can't speak to him or the lack of knowledge that he clearly has.

(30,613 posts)It's just embarrassing. We all watched him collude on TV. We are watching him collude right now (e.g. how much of the $120M budget for fighting Russian meddling, has he spent? $0.00). Making the "no collusion" claim is just pointless; nobody is buying it.

My feeling about this guy is he believes Trump would save his butt. Has Trump pulled anyone's bacon out of the fire, ever?
Out of the entire White House, the only ones who clearly don't deserve prison time is Millania and Barron.
