Obama campaign tailors messages for swing states

President Obama's re-election campaign released eight new negative radio ads today specifically targeted to the eight states it has invested in the most in recent months.
Rather than rely on one national message against Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, the new initiative divides the country by topic. So, for instance, Floridians will hear a pitch about why the Republican ticket is wrong on Medicare, while in Iowa the focus will be on wind energy.
The eight states are the same ones that both campaigns are focused on the most in their ad campaigns: Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio and Virginia.

Calling someone a Marxist/Socialist Kenya is negative.
Pointing out the voting record of an opponent is not negative.

Obama isn't getting a lot of traction by bragging about turning the economy around. So he's going for the "lesser evil" theory.

We must not throw away the somes in an effort to address some others.
