Texas notary's failure to sign Stormy Daniels' hush agreement is under investigation

Source: Dallas News

Terri Langford, Investigative reporter

Texas officials are investigating whether a Dallas-area notary properly signed off on Stormy Daniels’ agreement to stay quiet about her alleged affair with President Donald Trump.

The notary issue is the latest in a string of curiosities surrounding the murky deal involving Trump personal lawyer Michael Cohen and the adult-film actress, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford.

A notary in Forney, where Daniels lives, did not sign and date the 2016 agreement, which was finalized a few days before the presidential election. She also did not provide a certificate reflecting whose signature she was witnessing, according to the Texas Secretary of State.

the illegal use of campaign funds for the $130K payoff. I honestly don;t care that they had an affair, but that's what the news cycle wants to focus on -- sex, drugs, and rock & roll as they use to say back in the day.

I'd be very happy if the media started reporting more on the angle of the illegal use of campaign funds versus the sex with a porn start angle. But they won't do that cuz the majority of the media only cares about its ratings.

24/7 media coverage of Trump is how we ended up with Porno Don illegally occupying the White House

“Neither the Trump Organization nor the Trump campaign was a party to the transaction with Ms. Clifford, and neither reimbursed me for the payment, either directly or indirectly,” Cohen told the newspaper. “The payment to Ms. Clifford was lawful, and was not a campaign contribution or a campaign expenditure by anyone.”

That's Cohen on Yahoo...that's what the focus should be on..thr rest of this bs makes us look bad

Same for repeating the meme that "America first" is racist and represents white supremacy.

Yet Woodrow Wilson ran on that...as did others.

The GOP and Trump are so corrupt and doing do much wrong generating hype over memes and porn stars strengthens them and weakens us.

It also shows how his bad behavior can be used for blackmail by the Russians and other associates of his.

Many Republicans love them some family values. But how can they be the party for family values with their top guy cheating on his wife with a porn star? How can other Republican politicians claim they support family values when they also support Trump?

It's a stupid issue, yet somehow important in elections.
