'Is Russia to blame?' Moscow mocks Tillerson sacking

Russia issued a mocking reaction to the surprise sacking of Rex Tillerson as Secretary of State, with a foreign ministry spokeswoman asking if the finger of blame was already being pointed at Moscow.
"Have they started blaming Russia yet for the Washington staff changes?" foreign ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a text message sent to AFP. She did not immediately make any additional comments.
Tillerson on Tuesday agreed that Russia "was likely responsible for the nerve agent attack" on former double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter in England, speaking on a flight back from Africa.
"We agree that those responsible - both those who committed the crime and those who ordered it - must face appropriately serious consequences," he added.

(32,594 posts)They're not sure where Tillerson's loyalties lie any more.
Tillerson will no doubt tell everything he knows to Mueller, and the sooner they fire him the better, is what Pootie probably thinks. I'm pretty sure Rexie knows where the bodies are buried.

(11,885 posts)Or could this be a last attempt from Trump to buy him some time with Putin, because he hasn't gotten sanctions lifted for him yet? Trump also may be stiffing his Russian creditors , which he also has a history of doing? Trump also is scared of being poisoned some have said. I think Tillerson and Manifort will be talking, or face Putin's revenge, and they know they can't go to prison, or they'll be murdered there too.

Malcolm Nance says it's definitely connected to Putin. Putin told Trump to fire Tillerson and it's because of what he said about the Russian guy being poisoned in Great Britain.
Check it out.

There was some kind of story that he qualified for some stupendous tax benefit if he stayed a year.
I did not understand just what it was.
