Calif. couple dies in crash after fleeing from immigration agents

A California couple died in a car crash Tuesday after fleeing from immigration officials, police said.

Santo Garcia, 35, and Marcelina Profecto, 33, died at the scene in rural Kern County after their speeding SUV crashed into a power pole and overturned , Delano police said.

Police determined the couple was fleeing from Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials, who tried to stop their vehicle.

The driver pulled over, but then began speeding after the agents flashed their emergency lights and got out of their vehicle, police said.

5. When I was interviewed yesterday at the Border Wall Protest

in San Diego I told him when he asked me why I was there to support the undocumented immigrants. I also said that last week when that woman in National City (San Diego area) was dragged away be ICE, and the video went viral, that this is like Nazi Germany and I am from Phila where the Founding Fathers would never have imagined this for America. I told him that this is not the America I love and when ICE drags a law abiding citizen away that I have to take a stand. People do not feel safe at work or in their homes due to the hatred of fellow Americans towards them. They are afraid to call police for help for fear of being deported. Crimes by undocumented immigrants has been going down for years. Most of the "facts" about drugs and crime are completely false and the real fact are just the opposite. I almost started to cry but I focused on not saying "fucking moron" during the interview.

8. Until the law comes diwn hard on employers who hire undocumented workers

they will continue to come here, wall or not. For the employers, I'm talking stiff fines and jail time for executives. Of course that will never happen because it's "anti-business". If government is unwilling to stem the DEMAND for "illegals", ICE can go fuck itself.
