White House denies NY Times report of U.S. withdrawal from Iran nuclear deal

Source: Reuters

MAY 8, 2018 / 1:00 PM / UPDATED 25 MINUTES AGO

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A senior White House official on Tuesday denied a New York Times report that said U.S. President Donald Trump had told France’s President Emmanuel Macron that he would be withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal.

“The president did not tell Macron those things,” the official said.

Unfortunately, with this WH every sentence must be parsed for its true meaning.

Spanky most likely did tell Macron he was pulling out. Macron spilled the beans, spoiling Spanky's dog and pony show this afternoon. Spanky is pissed off that Macron stole his thunder, so knowing what a petty, childish POS Trump is, Macron may have figured Trump would change his tune out of sheer spite.

We have a 5-year-old spoiled brat running the country, complete with stomping feet, clenched fists, & a red face, as he screams, "I want all the attention. It's all about ME."

What really galls me is that he should be polling at 12%, not 40%. WTF, America?

Only Trump can stall for a fucking month dragging out a major decision, mash all the buttons on the elevator at the same time, and whichever floor it ends up on is the floor he always initially selected...

Trump Withdraws U.S. From ‘One-Sided’ Iran Nuclear Deal

WASHINGTON — President Trump declared on Tuesday that he was pulling out of the Iran nuclear deal, unraveling the signature foreign policy achievement of his predecessor, Barack Obama, and isolating the United States among its Western allies.

“This was a horrible one-sided deal that should have never, ever been made,” Mr. Trump said at the White House in announcing his decision. “It didn’t bring calm, it didn’t bring peace, and it never will.”

Mr. Trump’s announcement, while long anticipated and widely telegraphed, plunges America’s relations with European allies into deep uncertainty. They have committed to staying in the deal, raising the prospect of a diplomatic and economic clash as the United States reimposes stringent sanctions on Iran.

It also raises the prospect of increasing tensions with Russia and China, which also are parties to the agreement.

Why would anyone want to be part of an agreement with us if that asshole will only pull out of it? Stupid, petty, goddamn fucking imbecile. This country is never going to recover from the complete, unmitigated mess this shitbag has caused.

but if a different one comes in then expect that offers will be made and mainly because of the types and quantities of products (notably agricultural) that we can offer. There will be grovelling, but it can and will be done.
