National security adviser John Bolton said Tuesday that President Trump's decision to withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal isn't part of a broader plan to attack the country.

Bolton, a national security hawk considered by detractors to be too quick to support the use of military force, denied a plan to invade Iran following Trump's televised speech ending U.S. participation in the deal.

A reporter told Bolton there was speculation that the decision was a "precursor to the U.S. putting boots on the ground in Iran."

They are lost causes, but they’re tired of waiting for God and they want to bring about the end times (so much for the prayer “Thy will be done”), and a nuclear holocaust might just do the trick. Netanayhu has probably convinced Trump that an attack on Iran will have no consequences. I certainly hope that there are enough sane heads in the military to talk Trump out of using nuclear weapons, but I think Trump is just waiting for a chance to show what a great leader he is because, unlike other presidents, he is not afraid to use nuclear weapons. He is just sick enough to enjoy the destruction.

I think all they would need is for Pravda...er I mean Fox News to ramp up the war excitement. And probably even the rest of the MSM news networks would not be able to resist the dramatic graphics, and having on retired generals to explain and promote the invasion, like they did with the 9/11 invasion. And of course their Dear Leader himself going on TV telling them how much they want it too.

Add to that the Republicans would promote, ad nauseam, the idea of "support the troops!" conflating it as the same as "support America, and its freedoms and good Christian families, and the true God, and American exceptionalism" And any Democrat that votes no, will be lambasted for allowing an opening for radical Islam to one day destroy America.

His base would not only embrace an invasion, after a little 're-education' but would viciously attack anyone who speaks against it.

Iraq had no viable military, no air force, no navy, no serious weapons. So we walked right in, until the resurgents kicked our asses no matter how many innocent people we killed. In the end, we lost more troops than the number of people killed on 9/11.
