Chris Christie compares Mueller investigation to 'Bridgegate' probe

Source: The Hill

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) likened special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia to the "Bridgegate" scandal that plagued his time as governor.

In a clip posted Friday from an interview with Showtime's "The Circus," Christie agreed with journalist John Heilemann that the Bridgegate scandal, which resulted in two of his aides being convicted on criminal charges, was "analogous" to Mueller's probe.

"I've told him that many times, that I think there's...it's very analogous," Christie said.

"I can only speak for me, [but] it was completely overwhelming," Christie said of his investigation. Christie, who was not charged, was investigated in 2013 for his alleged collusion to close the main bridge in Fort Lee, New Jersey, creating traffic jams to punish the city's Democratic mayor for not endorsing him in the 2013 gubernatorial election.

Hey, Christie, when someone is involved in crimes they should be investigated and it should be reported -------------------right?

I'm all for it, even though he really ought to consider exercising his 5th Am rights. I mean, obviously he's likewise a loud-mouthed blowhard fat-a$$, let's just focus on the legal stuff.

If he wants to cop to being a felonious traitor like Trump is, I won't stop him.

dump shouldn't be able to weasel out of his crimes the way you did, by having your subordinates take the fall for you.

Also, you probably had better lawyers. And were a more able criminal who didn't sabotage his own case.

this?
I've told him that many times, that I think there's...it's very analogous," Christie said.

Is 'him' king con? If it is, that's the problem. No one and I mean NO ONE is suffering quite like king con. He is unique and special. No wonder king con didn't include christie in the administration Christie thinks he is equal to king con!
