PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A driver rammed into three women walking on a sidewalk Friday in downtown Portland, critically injuring one of them, before speeding away and getting arrested within hours of the crash, authorities said.

Someone called 911 after spotting a blue SUV that matched the description of the vehicle that struck the women near a light-rail station close to Portland State University, police Sgt. Pete Simpson said.

Police have not yet determined a motive and know little about the man, who was cooperative during his arrest, Simpson said. Authorities said they were getting a search warrant to seize the car with a crumpled hood and have yet to rule out intoxication, mental health problems or a medical incident as the reason for the crash.

. . .

The crash stunned the city on the Friday before Memorial Day. On that Friday last year, a passenger fatally stabbed two men and wounded a third on a light-rail train as it pulled into a station. Police said the passenger spewed hateful comments at two black teenage girls shortly before the attack.

These losers couldn't get laid in a female prison with a handful of pardons.

Here's a few suggestions for incels to become human beings; move out of your parent's basement, trim - or cut completely off - the full, unkempt beard you dullards seem always to sport. Take a shower, wash your hair, use deodorant, wear something else but camouflage hunting clothes once in a while. Brush your teeth. Use mouthwash occasionally. Read......books and magazines preferably, but read anything not related to incel chat rooms, Donald Trump, FOX News, or survivalist manifestos. Disconnect yourself from Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Reddit etc. Learn how to engage human beings in conversations. Be a good listener, and above all, stop thinking women owe you anything, especially sex.

The Mazda involved in the hit-and-run is registered to Greg Porter, a 61-year-old man with a Southeast Portland address, according to Oregon Driver and Motor Vehicle Services. On Friday evening, Porter was booked into the Multnomah County jail on 12 charges, including three counts of attempted murder and three counts of first-degree assault, according to jail records.

Court records show Porter has no significant criminal history prior to Friday.

The address on Porter’s driver’s license is the same as a long-term care facility, Secora Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia.

The Oregonian/OregonLive reported the director of the facility said the man who police arrested was a patient who moved out on May 1. The news organization also reported the director said the suspect “suffered from delusions.” Calls by OPB to Secora were not immediately returned.
