Maybe it's an attempt to clean out private prisons of rich white people. Of course I know the message he's sending to associates considering testifying against him.

I'm aware of what she did, but I hope he does pardon Martha. I like her and believe her conviction suited no purpose to justice. It didn't send a message to others, nor did it deter white collar crime. I wouldn't bash the president for a couple months right now if I were her. Leave that to her friend Snoop for now.

Which is more offensive to you: his action or the fact he was pardoned by Trump?

I didn't like that Obama pardoned and commuted some people including one that used a kid to ferry his dope around.

Second while he did something mind numbingly stupid nowhere did the government prove his intent was espionage which is why he got such a light sentence to begin with.

No campaign finance laws for him, no laws preventing any crimes he wishes to commit, and all his loyalists have no limit to what they can do , and get away with it. These pardons will also be abused as he'll continue to do as he wishes . Thumb his nose at the rule of law, except towards his opposition , and those that won't bow down to him. This will escalate , and his crimes will only get bolder.

Its the Constitution. That aside Blago received a sentence far above what anyone else would have received. Blago and the judge had a personality conflict and the judge used that conflict to sentence Blago to an excessive sentence.

Stewart hosted an Apprentice spinoff.

There's also this:

More potential groundwork: Blagojevich was convicted for selling political favors, while Rudy Giuliani has specifically cited Stewart's conviction for lying to investigators as an example of why Trump shouldn't be forced to testify.

These aren't random choices on Trumps part.

Because those are the ones people know about.
It has nothing to do with justice, (of course).
He's just using the power of pardon as a political publicity ploy for himself.
He expects people to see him as a kind, benevolent soul.
