Trump calls Fox's Hannity onstage at campaign rally
Source: AP
NEW YORK (AP) Sean Hannity spoke from the stage of President Donald Trump's last midterm election rally on Monday, after Fox News Channel and its most popular personality had insisted all day that he wouldn't.
Hannity appeared on the podium in a Missouri arena after being called to the stage by Trump. Another Fox News host, Jeanine Pirro, also appeared onstage with the president.
"By the way, all those people in the back are fake news," Hannity told the audience.
It was an extraordinary scene after the news network had worked Monday to establish distance between Hannity and the campaign. Trump's campaign had billed Hannity as a "special guest" at the rally, but Fox had said that wasn't so. Hannity himself had tweeted: "To be clear, I will not be on stage campaigning with the president. I am covering final rally for the show."

That's the difference between a real news channel and American Pravda.

(1,633 posts)Fox News is nothing but State TV that broadcast propaganda for this Orange Clown.
The only thing Hannity and Pirro didnt do, was to genuflect to their Orange master.
They probably did that backstage.

Talk show host Sean Hannity speaks alongside President Donald Trump at a Make America Great Again rally Monday in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Despite his promises earlier in the day, Fox News host Sean Hannity joined President Donald Trump on stage at a campaign rally in Missouri on Monday, praising the president while chastising other journalists as fake news.
Hannity, who hosted his hourlong program live from Cape Girardeau during Trumps last rally of the election cycle, had pledged that he was only in the state to host his show before the event amid criticism that he was stumping for the president. Those promises rang hollow, however, as Trump invited the Fox News personality on stage, praising him as one of the incredible people who had done an incredible job for us.....................................
The president called up another Fox News host and pro-Trump firebrand, Jeanine Pirro, who amplified Hannitys comments and called the president the tip of the spear who goes out there every day and fights for us.
If you like the America that he is making now, youve got to make sure you get out there tomorrow if you havent voted yet, everyone you know, Pirro said. Get them out there to vote for Donald Trump and all the people who are running for the Republican Party.............................

No way they can change that.

(6,543 posts)He really is having a tough time finding celebrities to support him and his agenda. All of tRump's friends are as disgusting as he is, if not more so. I really get a kick out of his criticism of celebrities supporting Democratic candidates. Look at what celebrities support him. Ted Nugent and Kanye West? Not exactly top of the ticket performers. Poor little rich boy.

I don't appreciate someone who hasn't even spent more than 6 months or so in office, while in his campaign for AG of MO, he criticized others for using the very same elected office he holds now in MO to move on to other elected offices. Hypocrite. Don't vote ever for him.

Mr. President, I did an opening monologue today and I had no idea you were going to invite me up here. And the one thing that has made and defined your presidency more than anything else: promises made, promises kept, Hannity said on stage after shaking Trumps hand, echoing a rally motto.
Just moments earlier, Hannity pointed to the media pool at the back of the room and said: By the way, all those people in the back are fake news.....................................
