WASHINGTON President Donald Trump's administration released details of acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker's past income and financial holdings that show he reported $904,000 in income from a nonprofit.
The documents were released on Tuesday after watchdog groups complained the information was months overdue. The $904,000 came from the Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust, where he worked as executive director from October 2014 to September 2017.
The disclosure form covered his income of $502,000 in 2017 and $402,000 in 2016, according to the group's tax forms. He also earned $252,000 from the group in 2015, according to the tax form.
Whitaker also earned $103,400 from his self-named law and consulting firm, according to the disclosure form. He listed $15,000 in consulting fees from CNN, $1,750 in consulting fees from American Trust Bank, where he served as an advisor; and $1,875 in legal fees from World Patent Marketing.

Lock him up. The fat fuck even looks like Grossberger in Stir Crazy (although Grossberger turned out to be a very good guy).

It seems that the only time we now find out about all the illegal transactions is when the press requires some more info.
Shouldn't these activities show up on one of our hi-tech agency radars?
I'm not suggesting that Big Brother should know about everything, but how about any amounts that are outside of the normal for an individual/entity?

And recently the DOJ thought he was A-OK for the job iirc.

(14,944 posts)why wouldn't the monitoring agencies (and the 5-eyes, Israeli, putin-aligned, Chinese, etc.) be putting all their focus on these douches?
OK, they already are. And are already controlling many of them. And are using agents such as Whitaker to ID those to dispose of.
Damn, where is Tom Clancy when we need him. This has got to be a new best series ---- if we survive.

(18,883 posts)Clancy's politics had shifted so far to the right he'd be on the side of Trump and the republicans in Congress. I stopped reading his books when he started to interject his political beliefs throughout the entire book. I could take it when he kept it to a minimum, but to actively take the side of the fascist right-wingers in this country was too much for me, and a lot of other people I know, to take.

John leCarre was much more enjoyable. I guess still is!

DonorsTrust, a conservative foundation that allows other conservative foundations to mask their giving, provided FACTs seed funding $600,000 donated in 2014 but the original source of that donation is not clear.

(18,883 posts)he's a fucking con-man and criminal. Birds of a feather, and all that horseshit..... No wonder these two get along so well, and Whitaker is willing to aid and abet Trump in his crime spree.
These republican pieces of shit have no shame, no sense of right or wrong, and no consciences. They are, quite literally, psychotic madmen. They don't see anything they're doing as wrong, let alone illegal. I want both of these bastards in prison, and soon.

(11,882 posts)For this idiot , because he'll end up exactly like 2 of Nixon's AG's did, in jail. HE's too stupid to not do something illegal for trump, and will. HE'll be ousted soon enough , then he'll regret anything he's done when he's facing an indictment , and prison.
