Kremlin says Trump-Putin G-20 meeting still on

Source: The Hill

The Russian government on Monday said that President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin are still expected to meet on the sidelines of the upcoming Group of 20 (G-20) summit despite the flaring crisis in Ukraine.

“This meeting is being prepared,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters when asked if the tensions with Ukraine would impact the planned meeting, according to Russia’s state-owned TASS news agency. The White House did not immediately return a request for comment on whether the meeting is still expected to take place.

Tensions between Moscow and Kiev deteriorated sharply in the last 24 hours after Russia opened fire and seized three Ukrainian ships sailing through the Kerch Strait off the coast of the Crimea Peninsula, which Russia annexed in 2014.

The United Nations Security Council called an emergency meeting on the events for Monday morning. Ukraine as well as the majority of the international community, including the U.S., do not recognize Russia’s annexation of Crimea as legitimate.

Putin owns Trump. And Trump is in so deep that he doesn't care about the optics
of his upcoming meeting with Putin as Putin is conducting a war on his neighbor.

BTW I might be but I think Putin started this war in order to change the
subject off of Trump's upcoming "Mueller Time."

Why so many meetings? Pence just saw and was seated next to Putin last week. WTF?

Oh yeah, no collusion.

Now he's got to talk to Don the Con and make sure he knows how to defend PUtin from charges at the UN and to make sure zero action is taken internationally against him.
