Trump Attacks 'Illegal' Mueller Probe Late Last Night and First Thing Today: 'McCarthy Style Witch Hunt'

by Colby Hall Nov 29th, 2018, 7:08 am

President Donald Trump's near-constant complaints of the investigation led by Special Counsel Robert Mueller continued Thursday morning, suggesting that legal implications of his administration are still very much at the top of his mind.

Amid numerous news reports that Trump is in a joint defense agreement with the conservative conspiracy theorist Jerome Corsi (who has claimed to have rejected a plea deal with Mueller), and that the lawyers for Paul Manafort have been working with Trump's lawyers, the investigation into whether or not the Trump campaign conspired with foreign agents to help his campaign appears to be coming closer to revelations. In the eyes of the Commander in Chief, this is an "investigation in search of a crime." To wit:

-snip-

Thees tweets were published Thursday morning, roughly six hours after Trump tweeted something similar:

So it appears that President Trump felt the need to undermine the Mueller investigation just before going to sleep, then awoke with the same topic on his mind.

The last paragraph of the article reports on Trey Gowdy's comment made in March 2018 while appearing on a Sunday a.m. talk show; "When you are innocent ... act like it," adding "If you've done nothing wrong, you should want the investigation to be as fulsome and thorough as possible."

Daily now trying desperately to claim the opposite of the truth, his biggest enemy now. That's what Mueller stands for, the truth, and trump does nothing but lie.

It grows almost as fast as the supposed Saudi arms purchase deal with Trump. That jumps by hundreds of billions in a day. As of yet, the Saudis haven't spent a thin dime on arms from the "best negotiator in the world".

By the way;

The Orange Clown keeps changing the cost numbers to satisfy his reality. Unless there's more accurate numbers, the latest I found estimated the cost of the Special Investigation at $26 million as of Sept 2018.

[link:https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/politics/ct-mueller-trump-cost-complaint-anaylsis-20180914-story.html|

The investigation with the highest total cost and the greatest number of days was the investigation into Whitewater under the Bill Clinton administration, which cost taxpayers $83,358,502.05 ($22,432.32/day) over 3,716 days.

The cost of the Watergate special investigation during Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford’s administrations was $47,094,590.10 (adjusted for inflation) over 1,464 days for $32,168.44 per day.

Trump thought his fabricated questionaire answers (written in collusion with his co-conspirators) would be a strong defense. And instead, it seems he severely fucked himself as witnesses and evidence appear to prove even more deceit, conspiracy and obstruction. And it's looking doubtful his Whitaker stooge can actually do anything without getting into his own mess of legal issues. I think we're soon in for a rapid succession of checking maneuvers followed by an inevitable toppling. And Trump is just starting to realize it. The flop sweat is showing.

FINALLY, our long national nightmare will be over. He can take his vile "kids" along with him, too. The Nekid Forst Lay-dee can go too, along with her blood red Christmas trees. What a disgusting, shameful chapter in the history of this country. Taken over by a family of mafia wannabes aided by Russia. When Ivanka is unable to pay for her weekly Botox injections, maybe her face will actually move again. As it is, she can barely move her lips around those huge horse teeth.

That's the property seizure from Manafort
Combined with the actual $25 million cost, this puts this Mueller investigation solidly in the black, unlike the federal budget or any Trump property.

Trump is not a tough guy, he has been catered to all of his life. It will be scary for him to be held accountable for his crimes. Even if he can't be indicted, which I disagree with, his ego is going to take a beating, he is going to implode, maybe explode.

He never wanted to win which is the irony.
