Mike Pence Tweeted, Then Deleted, A Picture With A Florida Deputy Wearing A QAnon Conspiracy Patch

Source: Buzz Feed News

Vice President Mike Pence on Friday tweeted, and then quickly deleted, a picture of himself and a Florida sheriff’s deputy wearing a QAnon conspiracy patch on his uniform.

The picture was similar to other posts when Pence travels across the country, but one of the deputies greeting the vice president just outside of Air Force Two could be seen wearing a prominent red patch on his chest with the letter “Q.”

Minutes after BuzzFeed News reached out to the White House and Pence’s office regarding the picture, the tweet was deleted and reposted, but this time without the image with the QAnon patch.

QAnon is a conspiracy theory that sprung from 4chan, claiming that, among other things, President Trump is trying to save the world from a global pedophile human trafficking ring that involves high-ranking politicians and Hollywood figures. The conspiracy, which has evolved and encompassed a wide range of baseless theories, circles around a figure identified as “Q,” who claims to be a high-ranking US official and who posts obscure statements that followers try to interpret as some sort of information drop to the president’s supporters.

President Obama tried to stop it but Dolt45's administration restored it:

Trump to restore program sending surplus military weapons, equipment to police
By Tom Jackman
August 27, 2017

President Donald Trump plans to resume the transfer of surplus weapons, vehicles and other equipment from the nation’s military to its state and local law enforcement agencies, reviving a program that was sharply curtailed by President Barack Obama two years ago. The program launched in 1990 but was greatly limited after public reaction to images of heavily militarized police in the streets of Ferguson, Mo., and other sites of civil unrest.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced the move Monday morning at the Fraternal Order of Police convention in Nashville, and said the president would do so by executive order. The police union had lobbied for the restoration of the program, and Trump said he would do so during his campaign.

The restrictions on distributing military surplus to police “went too far,” Sessions told the FOP on Monday. “We will not put superficial concerns above public safety…The executive order the president will sign today will ensure that you can get the lifesaving gear that you need to do your job and send a strong message that we will not allow criminal activity, violence, and lawlessness to become the new normal. And we will save taxpayer money in the meantime.”

Sessions concluded by telling the police convention, “We have your back and you have our thanks.”<SNIP>
The decision to restore the flow of military weaponry to civilian law enforcement was the latest move by the Trump administration both to stake out a hard-line stance on law and order as they view it, and to undo actions by the Obama administration which were unpopular in some quarters of law enforcement.

From The Daily Dot:

...

That pattern has been in full force over the last few days, first as Democrats emerged from the 2018 midterms having flipped the House of Representatives, then again as Attorney General Jeff Sessions—a favorite of Q acolytes—was fired.

Neither of these things were part of The Plan that Q has been weaving over the last year.

While the 2018 midterm elections generally went the way polls and pundits predicted it would, it did not go at all the way QAnon predicted it would.

For months, the supposed Trump administration official famous for his bad predictions and cryptic nuggets of supposedly classified information had been forecasting nothing less than a massive surge in Republican gains.

when Mueller's verdict comes down. If there is any attempt to remove the fat orange pig, I'm a bit worried that there will be an insurrection. They need an enemy. And since R's still have the majority in most branches, they pick a fantasy enemy that is secretly controlled by Democrats. And will believe anything, even that Mueller, a Republican, and his team, the FBI, CIA etc...are all working for this deep state conspiracy.

Broward County Sheriff's Office investigates deputy's #QAnon patch
Deputy wore conspiracy theory patch during meeting with vice president

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Broward County Sheriff's Office is investigating after one of its deputies was photographed wearing a #QAnon patch while meeting Vice President Mike Pence.

Broward County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Veda Coleman-Wright said the deputy -- identified as Matt Pattern in the photo -- was not authorized to wear the patch, which read "Question the Narrative."

"This matter will be addressed immediately," Coleman said.

The Broward County Sheriff's Office deputies greeted Pence at Fort-Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport on Friday.

#QAnon is a far-right conspiracy theory popular with a small group of supporters of President Donald Trump. At a July Trump rally in Tampa, some rallygoers sported #QAnon shirts and signs.

The movement has been called everything from “a deranged conspiracy cult” to a grassroots movement “about the covert battles being waged between the deep state and President Trump.”

The group is named for "Q," an anonymous person who claims to be a member of the U.S. military intelligence.

The photo, which was posted on Pence's Twitter account, was first spotted by blog RightWingWatch. Pence has since deleted the photo.
