A woman who has worked for years as a maid at President Trump’s New Jersey golf club is an undocumented immigrant, The New York Times reported Thursday.

The news outlet profiled Victorina Morales, who reportedly crossed the border illegally in 1999 and was hired at Trump’s Bedminster Golf Club in 2013. She told the news outlet she used “phony” immigration papers to secure employment.

The Times reported that Morales has "made Trump’s bed, cleaned his toilet and dusted his crystal golf trophies" during her time working at Bedminster.

The revelation comes as the Trump administration cracks down on illegal immigration, one of the hallmarks of the president's agenda. Trump himself has repeatedly used vitriolic rhetoric to describe immigrants.

Ms. Morales expects she will have to leave her job as soon as her name and work status are made public. She understands she could be deported. But she also says she is certain that her employers — perhaps even Mr. Trump — knew of her unlawful status all along.

“I ask myself, is it possible that this señor thinks we have papers? He knows we don’t speak English,” Ms. Morales said. “Why wouldn’t he figure it out?”

Why the hell did the media expose her? She'll likely be deported and probably without her family. Why didn't the NYT expose Devin Nunes' family farm in Iowa instead?

In reality, it would have been wise for her to seek employment elsewhere after tRump's election to avoid exposure.

I feel we're all hypocrites in a way because for decades, we've all been benefiting from the work of undocumented laborers. That is, if we have eaten food, stayed in a hotel or needed a roof on our house, for example.
