'Brexit 50-50' if May's deal rejected, says Liam Fox

Source: BBC

Senior Brexiteer minister Liam Fox says there is a 50-50 chance the UK will not leave the EU on 29 March if MPs reject Theresa May's Brexit deal next month. The international trade secretary told the Sunday Times it would only be "100% certain" if MPs back the deal. He said if the deal is rejected, that "would shatter the bond of trust between the electorate and Parliament".

MPs are due to vote on the withdrawal agreement in January, with the UK scheduled to leave the EU on 29 March.

Mr Fox has warned fellow MPs that failure to pass the deal would be "incendiary" and said it was "a matter of honour" for them to support the PM. He said: "What you can be sure of is that if we vote for the prime minister's deal then it's 100% certain that we will leave on 29 March. If we do not vote for that, I'm not sure I would give it much more than 50-50. And, for me, that would induce a sense that we had betrayed the people that had voted in the referendum."

… if they're going to leave, leave.
… if the election was questionable, have another.

Personally, I think it's a mistake and the UK should stay EU.

I find the whole Brexit thing confusing. As forces are fracturing alliances throughout the world, people need to pull together. Isolationism is not a good thing, as we are finding out here in the US. When you lose your standing on the world stage, you lose your influence and allies. That does not make sense to me - at all.

why Russia has been so focused on fostering it where they can like with aiding Trump.
In fact I would not be surprised if Russia deliberately tipped off varies people to what they were doing in order to foster even more chaos.
