Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota joins Democratic race for 2020
Source: Washington Post
Klobuchar, who easily won reelection to the Senate in November, announced she is joining the 2020 presidential race. She has emphasized her Midwest roots and ability to connect with people who voted for President Trump in 2016.
Three other female senators and one male senator Elizabeth Warren (Mass.), Kirsten Gillibrand (N.Y.), Kamala D. Harris (Calif.) and Cory Booker (N.J.) have joined the race, and others are considering it.
This is a developing story. It will be updated.

(8,694 posts)So many awesome candidates. Imagine the next cabinet with all these amazing people in charge.
There will be a place for them all. I finally see light out of this darkness.

The only Senators in the Cabinet can come from Blue States with Blue Governors or states with laws mandating the replacement be of the same party.

Unassuming. Effective. Well thought of. Leads by example. And (so far) no distractions.

"No distractions", given what's been revealed about her staff, is laughable.
Hard pass. Bottom of my list.
