Protesters have planned demonstrations across the U.S. for Presidents Day in response to President Trumps decision to declare a national emergency for border wall funding.
USA Today reports a wave of protests have been planned from New York to California and Texas to oppose the presidents national emergency declaration.
A number of demonstrations are being planned by the liberal advocacy group, MoveOn.org, and others have been listed on rallylist.com.
Donald Trump has declared a #FakeNationalEmergencyan illegal power grab from an unhinged man to push his racist, dangerous policies, MoveOn.org states on its site for protests taking place on Presidents Day.

(128,487 posts)Kudos for the organizers because despite a couple months of threats, no one really knew if and when this nonsense would actually occur (and it finally did yesterday). And it ain't easy because many municipalities require permits, etc.

(51,567 posts)I am using my "NO WALLS" (like the Pink Floyd album cover with tRump peeking through the bricks) sign and my "Lock Him Up" sign, with his ugly mug looking out from behind bars. I brought those to the protest in San Diego last March when he came here to look at the prototypes for his "emergency" wall.
I wonder if others will suddenly join you on the corner or honk their car horns in support.
RESIST!
