WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday accused social media platforms Facebook, YouTube and Twitter of favoring his Democratic opponents over him and his fellow Republicans.
But fear not, we will win anyway, just like we did before! #MAGA, he said in a tweet. MAGA refers to Trumps 2016 campaign slogan, Make America Great Again.
Facebook Inc and Twitter Inc declined to comment. Alphabet Incs Google, which owns YouTube, did not immediately comment.
The president and other conservatives have repeatedly complained that these big tech platforms treat them unfairly.

Hey malignant narcissistic psychopath, ever hear about what Facebook was doing to one Ian Millhiser, they were conveniently censoring his columns because some conservative think tank (Heartland Institute) backed by the Koch's didn't like what he was saying .........................and they (Facebook) even took down Elizabeth Warren's ad campaign pages, they had no problem with Russian troll ad pages in the last election, and you didn't say one fucking word, and now you and your cronies are asking the justice department to investigate..........................go fuck yourself....................why not start with your propaganda machine over at FOX, for starters...........................

and large segments of the media selling non stories about Hillary and her emails all
were factors but the combined efforts of Cambridge Analytica & Facebook in a Russian
led program that targeted selected voters to be "bathed in misinformation" was very
effective.
* having 16 million people removed prior to the 2016 election showed that the GOP
and Russian intel were working for the same purpose.

(14,173 posts)If it is done in a clever way, introduced properly. Start it at a grass roots level in Red States. Even using provocateurs from our side to instill the idea. We have to play dirty now. The idea being, that these provocateurs both on the ground and as guests on Fox News and other networks, spout on and on about how the liberal bias is so dominant, and they lie all the time etc etc. to the point that we need a new 'fairness doctrine' to PROTECT CONSERVATISM! To by law, make sure that those rascally evil libruls don't take over completely! Use their brainwashing against them.
Milk the myth that conservatives and Republicans views are getting shafted and marginalized. Use their own built up prejudices as ammunition to DEMAND they get half the air time for conservative views. Make them think they are gaining something, when we know they will be losing airtime, especially if it applied to talk radio, which we would demand.
Networks like CNN already have Republican spokespersons on to balance out panels. So nothing would change much. For Fox, it would be a horrendous requirement to always have to have a balance of Democrat leaning guests and hosts on.
Which is why of course those RW media companies would fight against it tooth and nail. But that would have a side effect of them having to basically admit that they have been lying the whole time about being in the minority.

When the talk gets rough, they sue Twitter and others (like Nunes is) for what is clearly constitutionally guaranteed free speech criticizing him. Nunes caused everything that is happening to him, no one else did.
