GRAND RAPIDS, MI -- Lindsey Parker slept four hours Wednesday night, drove another two and then prepared to stand in line for 13 hours.

It was the Coldwater resident’s first time seeing President Donald Trump, and she wanted to get as close as she could during his rally Thursday, March 28, at the Van Andel Arena.

“It’s just so exciting to be here,” Parker said. “He’s done such great things.”

When Parker got in line at 3 a.m. Thursday, she said there were already 22 people in front of her. Trump is slated to speak at 7 p.m., and doors open at 4 p.m. . . .
