Mulvaney: Mueller report 'not designed' to exonerate Trump

Source: The Hill

BY CHRIS MILLS RODRIGO - 03/31/19 09:39 AM EDT

White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney said Sunday that special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation was "not designed" to exonerate President Trump.

“That is not what these documents do,” Mulvaney said when asked why Trump has claimed exoneration from obstruction charges, despite the report explicitly saying it did not exonerate him.

“When you do an investigation like this there is typically two outcomes: either criminal indictments come down or it just quietly goes away."

“These types of investigations are not designed to exonerate people.”

Individual-1 has given them a salad of scapegoats and beaten the drums so hard and so often that all he has to do now is mention one of them, just one of his many scapegoats, and the base salivates like pavlovian dogs.

Meanwhile, the super-wealthy pretty much know a liar when they see one -- being as to how so many of them are inveterate liars themselves, which is how they became super-wealthy - but they also know that individual-1's their guy. He cuts their taxes, removes all hindering regulations from their poisonous enterprises, and helps them screw the poor and downtrodden as a way to get ever richer and richer.

Trump's supporters: drooling dogs and greedy pigs.

i had a protest sign professionally made after the election. it's the text of the 1st Amendment, along with the quote "a nation of laws, not men"

trump had made no secret of his desire to shitcan the 1st amendment and his propaganda, lies and rhetoric around this issue is extremely dangerous.

when a president of the United States writes "memos" to media companies making threats so they will now allow his dissenters on their forum. No president since Richard Nixon has been so open about their "enemy list".

Except in this one highly specific instance, where there is a third outcome — there are mountains of evidence pointing to the target’s guilt, but the investigators have a policy that he cannot be indicted under any circumstances.

The only institution capable of handling this third outcome is Congress, which is why they need the entire report in full.

The report must contain evidence of something illegal or at the very least highly embarassing, or else the minions wouldn't be protesting so loudly.

And how has Mulvaney managed to read it to know?
