The unidentified projectile was fired at about 16:30 local time (07:30 GMT), the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff said, without providing further details. Unconfirmed reports say it flew some 420km (260 miles) over the North Korean mainland.

Located some 75km from Pyongyang, the Sino-ri base is one of North Korea's longest-running missile facilities, according to the Washington-based think-tank Center for Strategic and International Studies.

Officials were still analysing whether it was a single or multiple projectiles, a spokesman told AFP news agency.

Lies to the American people claiming we're safer because of him. The con job continues from trump about this and NK, and Putin's involvement. trump knowingly has allowed this to happen while promoting his propaganda claiming the opposite of the truth, again.

The two missiles were fired at about 16:30 local time (07:30 GMT) and reached an altitude of about 50km before falling into the sea, South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said in a statement.

They were launched from Kusong, some 160km from the capital, Pyongyang. Detailed analysis was being carried out in co-operation with US intelligence officials, it added.

The main pic shows Kim holding binoculars, and if you look further down in the article, he is clearly holding a cigarette in his fingers as well.

Now if you go back and look at the first picture, you can see what looks like image editing to erase the cig. I dunno, maybe it's just me but I see it.
