Fire at Connecticut mosque being investigated as arson

A fire at a Connecticut mosque over the weekend is reportedly being investigated as arson.
New Haven, Conn., Fire Chief John Alston said Monday that officials discovered evidence indicating the fire at Diyanet Mosque was intentionally set, according to The Associated Press.
Federal and state authorities have since opened a probe into the incident.
"We are taking this very serious," New Haven interim Police Chief Otoniel Reyes told the AP. "We are working with our federal and state partners to make sure that there is no underlying issue to the greater community and to the greater religious community."
