Giuliani meets with former Ukrainian diplomat to get info on Dems

Source: The Hill

President Trump's attorney Rudy Giuliani met with a former Ukrainian diplomat last week in an attempt to get information to hurt Democrats.

Giuliani told The Washington Post that he met with Andrii Telizhenko, who has reportedly made unproven assertions that the Democratic National Committee worked with the Kiev government in 2016 to find information on then-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, which the DNC denied.

“He was in Washington and he came to New York, and we spent most of the afternoon together,” Giuliani told the Post, but declined to say what they discussed.

“I can’t tell you a thing about the meeting,” he said. “When I have something to say, I’ll say it.”

I guess if you just meet with Russian tools in the open, then it is okay.

ALMOST. What a pathetic person he is, defending his buddy liar in chief tRump. At a time when he really should be retired, enjoying life with all the money he has (illegally) received from dirty dealings, he is stuck defending the indefensible tRump. They look as though they are competing for which one of them is the ugliest, failed, struggling to remain relevant New Yawker in DC. Nobody, apart from Faux, takes either seriously anymore. From "I am a stable genius" to "I will reveal the information when the time is right" they are pathetic. These two are what passes for diplomats in the gop? God help us.

7. He can't say anything about the meeting because there is nothing to say that would be truthful.

Is working with foreign entities to dig up dirt on a opponent something that has always happened or is it that trumpsters just don't care about treason?

Even deeper than my above question comes the thought to me that it's so demoralizing that those who seek leadership positions in our nation (regardless of party) need to depend more on dirt than competence in obtaining those positions. If this be true, my thought, then this is an ultra ugly picture of the people, those who actually put these monsters in office.

Such assistance as Ghouliani is pursuing very clearly falls under that prohibition. Attempting to garner such aid is likewise an offense.

which I've read in more than one source... so I assumed.

Thanks for clearing that up. I'm bitter about all the violence and fakery that Putin caused Ukraine, having read many of his ruling associates' statements about Ukraine's value to Russia's Eurasian Project. There was little signal and much noise accompanying all that horror.

We'll see how long Ukraine holds on to its association agreement toward EU membership.

There are all kinds of data in the wiki entry on Euromaiden, but I couldn't find mention of Telizhenko, nor does the name appear anywhere but in right wing tea party sites that claim he's about to blow the lid off of Mueller's "witch hunt" when he talks to Giuliani.

.... other than that he was educated in America and Canada and worked in the US as part of the Ukranian diplomatic mission. I think pre euromaiden.

He sounds like a grifter.

Lauded as America’s Mayor in the aftermath of 9/11, Rudy Giuliani is now seen as a buffoon and a Trump toady.
