A Man Has Been Arrested After Expressing Interest In Committing A Mass Shooting, FBI Says

Source: CNN

(CNN) — Connecticut authorities arrested a man who they said was interested in committing a mass shooting, had weapons and tactical gear, and made his intentions known on Facebook.

Brandon Wagshol, 22, was detained Thursday after a tip from a citizen that he was trying to buy large capacity rifle magazines from out of state, the FBI and the Norwalk Police Department said. Wagshol has been charged with four counts of illegal possession of large capacity magazines, and is being held on a $250,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court September 6. CNN has reached out to the prosecutor and defense attorney.

The FBI and Norwalk Police Department started investigating after the tip. They discovered the suspect was trying to build his own rifle and had posted on Facebook expressing an interest in committing a mass shooting, according to a statement from the police and the FBI. It did not provide details on what his post said.

When authorities executed a search warrant at his home, they found numerous weapons, including a handgun, a rifle, a rifle scope with laser, numerous rounds of ammunition, body armor, ballistic helmet and other tactical gear, police said. While some of the weapons were registered to his father, he had access to them, authorities said.

hopefully this action will cause some to change their perception, at least the more informed ones, a minority.

meth, oxy and cocaine, all to try to keep him energized during the day and tranquilized at night to sleep.

He was a real mess from the reading and coverage I've seen, 'high Hitler, for real'!

This image is from the Olympics in Berlin in 1936 when he was still relatively 'healthy.' Goebbels is in one frame.

I think they must have sped up the film more to create this much 'rocking' seen in the gif. But it works.

PS Note his immobile left arm, I thought that didn't start until after the 1944 assassination attempt explosion.

9. On Hitler's left, look at the man's hands clapping- def sped up.

The film doesn't look so fast when he's looking through the binoculars, but when clapping his hands it's too fast. Same for the other people in the stands when they clap, though I can't see clearly, an enlarged image would be better.

This older film clip gif below, also from the 1930s-40s is quite sped up, way too fast in order to get the desired effect.

14. I am sure they don't give any black folks a pass , not just black liberals.

they will most likely give ALL white people, even white liberals, a pass. Cops would have to be mindreaders to know a person's political views unless they are told them by the person.

Kudos to the FBI once again. This is from a few days ago, seems they are on these cases as active and as a deterrent. The public is speaking up too. This one a tip from a business dealing, and the other day a girlfriend alerting police.

I won't be so cynical as to say these are manufactured cases to quell public concern, nor are they embelished. Just the facts, just the investigation. Sane people are fighting back against this menace launched by the maniac in the White House.

11. And he was expressing interest in "committing mass murder"

not "a mass shooting". Mass shooting makes it sound like everyone survives.

The term "mass murder" must really replace "mass shooting".

but I have to wonder why someone who intends on committing such acts would post their intentions to the world.
