Trump demands to meet whistleblower, warns of 'big consequences'

Source: MSN

President Trump on Sunday evening called for the outing of a whistleblower and railed against other individuals, including Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), at the center of a growing scandal involving his phone call with Ukraine's president, warning there could be "Big Consequences."

"Like every American, I deserve to meet my accuser, especially when this accuser, the so-called 'Whistleblower,' represented a perfect conversation with a foreign leader in a totally inaccurate and fraudulent way. Then Schiff made up what I actually said by lying to Congress," Trump said in a series of tweets.

"His lies were made in perhaps the most blatant and sinister manner ever seen in the great Chamber," he continued before adding that he wants Schiff, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, "questioned at the highest level for Fraud & Treason."

"In addition," he added, "I want to meet not only my accuser, who presented SECOND & THIRD HAND INFORMATION, but also the person who illegally gave this information, which was largely incorrect, to the 'Whistleblower.' Was this person SPYING on the U.S. President? Big Consequences!"

People go to prison over this type of thing. I'm an activist working for criminal justice reform and as a result of my (volunteer) work I see all kinds of crimes. This is called tampering. It is a form of witness intimidation. It's on tape; there's no question about it. It is a thinly veiled death threat.

Probably the only reason you don't hear much talk about it is that tampering is just one of his many crimes.

The fact that he said this just shows how ignorant he is. His handlers must be tearing their hair out. Oh oops, he fired all the handlers. Ipso facto.

I don't mean crazy like the zany drunk at the corner bar, but criminally insane crazy.

Does he really think someone's going to put him in a room with the whistle blower so he can intimidate him and threaten his life? Somebody please ask McConnell and his GOP cohorts if this sounds right to them.

in this case, that it's not only okay to witness tamper but expected.

It's perfect fodder for FOX News, conservative pundits and coffee-shop MAGAs. The talk shifts from "Trump committed an impeachable offense," to "The Democratic Congress is treating Trump unfairly."

This isn't more crazy talk from Trump. This is planned propaganda to rally the base.

Dilute. Distract. Disinform.

in trump's BS. TWITTER!

It's about time the morons who own this media start taking responsibility for allowing this POS to spew his BS.
Without twitter, trump is reduced to having to actually meet with the press and other media. And since it would be the same thing time after time, maybe then the media would tire of his incessant lying and actually report what is important.

But without twitter or at least with responsible, fair twitter owners who seem more interested in hate so a few of their friends can profit, trump would be much more silent.

Never going to happen, though. Because twitter, like facebook doesn't care what happens to this country so long as they can profit from dissension and hate.

And this was done to intimidate them and others from exposing him, but instead it'll just make more come out and with a lot more damming trump information, and his threats against them will only escalate. These people coming out are hero's, not criminals like trump will claim.trump's a serial liar, a con man, and a criminal, and it's a great thing these brave people are exposing him.
