General election 2019: No apology from Jeremy Corbyn over Labour anti-Semitism claims

Source: BBC

Jeremy Corbyn has declined to apologise to the UK Jewish community after the chief rabbi criticised how the party deals with anti-Semitism claims.

In a BBC interview with Andrew Neil, the Labour leader was asked four times whether he would like to apologise.

Mr Corbyn said his government will protect "every community against the abuse they receive".

Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis claimed "a new poison - sanctioned from the very top - has taken root" in Labour.

Labour has been beset by allegations of anti-Semitism for more than three years. Even during an election, Corbyn can not bring himself to apologize the the party's inadequate response.

Johnson has his own issues with xenophobic remarks. I can understand why the Chief Rabbi issued his statement, but that can be used against him

problem in the Labour Party and the Party seems unwilling to come to grips with it. I don't think Labour will win another election until Corbyn is gone.

It just got a little clearer which of the lousy choices will win, that's all.

Corbyn is doing Labour serious damage that the Party will take some time to repair after he's gone. If he should manage to become PM, people who have been reluctant to engage in anti-Semitic violence in the UK up to now might feel a little more emboldened, and that will not be pretty if and when it happens. Shin Bet and Mossad surely know where their opponents in the UK live and work.

They try to avoid taking a solid position (unlike Lib Dem, which is what I’d probably vote for), and focus attention on their economic manifesto.

Just another example of some on the Left's worship of the Palestinian's status and their situation.

The UK media and the right has been trying to smear Corbyn and Labour as Anti-Semitic for quite a while now!
No surprise he's done trying to defend himself against the baseless BS.
If Bernie himself were not Jewish, they'd be pulling the same stunt here.
In some ways, they have tried.

I'm really surprised how many just swallow the MSM line on all this crud and march on.
