First positive case of Coronavirus confirmed in New York

Governor Andrew Cuomo has confirmed the first positive case of Coronavirus in New York State.

In a tweet the Governor said a woman in her late thirties contracted the virus while traveling in abroad in Iran. He added she is currently being isolated in her home.

This is a developing story and will continue to bring updates as they become available.

infecting people for months if not years yet it was not getting tested for as it was being put off by people as a case of a common cold and we are only finding these cases now because they are actually looking for it now.
