Source: 10 news

On Sunday night, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) said it wouldn’t be a matter of “if” but rather “when” the Sunshine State began seeing COVID-19 cases.

Shortly thereafter, Gov. Ron DeSantis announced two cases of the novel virus had been presumptive positive in the Tampa Bay area.

A March 1 letter appearing to be from Doctors Hospital said its patient was admitted in late February and is still there. When medical staff realized the patient might have coronavirus, the hospital activated COVID-19 protocols and identified everyone who had come in contact with the individual.

I have heard about several cases throughout Florida in the past few weeks. I am relieved they are finally beginning to publicly confirm cases.

Then Trump will spring into action, just like Saint Ronnie did after Rock Hudson came down with AIDS. With all these ULTRA HYPOCRITE Republicans nothing needs action until it hits home.

especially with coastal states getting hit hard.

Our thoughts go out to those working in the tourism and travel industries, but most of all to those suffering from this disease.

Hats off to our healthcare workers and first responders.........

with COVID-19. With a large elderly population and an economy based on tourism, it could grow to be a crisis. The Florida economy will surely take a hit during the remainder of winter and spring as well. I wish everyone the best, and please take all necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the virus.
