Joe Biden wins Arizona primary, NBC News projects, as he piles up delegates

Joe Biden will win the Arizona Democratic primary, NBC News projected Tuesday, marking another win for the former vice president.
Biden was widely anticipated to walk away from the primary with the bulk of Arizonas 67 pledged delegates. His blowout performance on Super Tuesday earlier this month quashed Sanders momentum and gave Biden a lead that pollsters increasingly consider to be insurmountable.
With a more than half of the votes counted, Biden led Sanders by about a 44% to 31% margin.
While Sanders has polled well with Hispanic voters an advantage in Arizona the states larger proportion of non-Hispanic white voters were still expected to lean heavily toward Biden.

(26,281 posts)actually happen and Biden is looking more like he is going to win it but then again weirder things have happened before.
After all look at Trump becoming President.
But anyway if Bernie wants to give it a shot I have zero problems with him doing so but if by the end of May he does not gain any real substantial ground he should bow out gracefully and pledge the rest of his remaining Presidential campaign war chest (minus the amount to pay his people in his campaign) to helping Biden and the other Democrats this election.
That and he needs to remain as a registered Democrat this time because if he does not then consideration should be taken at spending time and resources trying to find someone in his state to run against him.

(the important thing is we avoid at all costs what that statistical likelihood is... otherwise, we'd look less than rational for bringing it up)
