CNN anchor Chris Cuomo diagnosed with coronavirus; he will continue working from home

New York (CNN Business)CNN anchor Chris Cuomo has been diagnosed with Covid-19, the network said in a memo to employees on Tuesday.

He is feeling well, and will continue to anchor his 9 p.m. program "Cuomo Prime Time" from his home.

Cuomo was most recently at CNN's offices in the Hudson Yards neighborhood of New York City last Friday. He anchored from his home on Monday, and interviewed his brother, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.

This is the third case of coronavirus involving CNN's workspace in New York City. Employees were notified of another case in mid-March.

Another multimillionaire who has access to the best health care has Coronavirus. Big deal! My empathy and sympathy goes to the 30 million Americans that don't have health care. Those who weren't able to stock up on food (because they didn't have money) is my concern. The medical staff putting their lives at risk should be the ones that receive our utmost support. So should the truck drivers that are bringing our food. These media conglomerates that Chris is part of- are responsible for normalizing incompetent presidents. They did it with Reagan, George W., and now Trump. Our country would not be in the mess it is now- without the complicity of mainstream media. Notice they are not using this pandemic to discuss America's dire need for Universal Health-care? It's the millions in advertising from Big Pharma and the insurance lobby that keeps them from doing that.

Then I remembered, before I went to the hospital with heart issues...I grabbed my work PC and worked from the ICU because I sure as hell wasn't going to burn PTO time over this and nor was I going to just lay there and watch TV.
