A former neighbor of Joe Biden's accuser Tara Reade has come forward to corroborate her sexual assau

LaCasse told Insider that in 1995 or 1996, Reade told her she had been assaulted by Biden. "I remember her saying, here was this person that she was working for and she idolized him," LaCasse said. "And he kind of put her up against a wall. And he put his hand up her skirt and he put his fingers inside her. She felt like she was assaulted, and she really didn't feel there was anything she could do."

LaCasse said that she remembers Reade getting emotional as she told the story. "She was crying," she said. "She was upset. And the more she talked about it, the more she started crying. I remember saying that she needed to file a police report." LaCasse said she does not recall whether Reade supplied any other details, like the location of the alleged assault or anything Biden may have said.

"I don't remember all the details," LaCasse said. "I remember the skirt. I remember the fingers. I remember she was devastated."

Since Alexandra Tara Reade’s sexual assault allegations against former Vice President Joe Biden have come to light, careful examination of her account unveils more questions than answers.

Three weeks ago, we reported on the many contradictions in Reade’s account, as well as the extreme changes in her attitude toward the former vice president. She has evolved from a woman who repeatedly praised Joe Biden for work he’s done to help end sexual assault in America, in 2017, to someone who now says Biden sexually assaulted her in 1993.

Now we’ve obtained new information concerning Tara Reade’s character, from a non-profit organization based in Watsonville, California, called Pregnant Mare Rescue (PMR). Lynn Hummer, Founder/President of the highly-rated horse sanctuary that’s committed to rescuing pregnant mares and orphan foals from abuse, tells us that Tara Reade (McCabe) volunteered at her rescue for a couple of years (from 2014–2016). During this time, Hummer alleges that Reade “stole from her nonprofit, lied, and created stories to obtain sympathy and money.”

We’ve also obtained receipts and emails that back up many of Hummer’s claims.

Now, all of a sudden, a disgruntled Bernie Bro podcaster interviews Tara Reade with a blockbuster revelation about Joe being a sexual abuser and rapist as a way to derail the Biden campaign.

The problem is, this can be used to neutralize the issue of Trump's behavior and depress turnout among our base, and undermine Biden's image as an honorable person. Not to mention making the party look like hypocrites and undermining the progress the MeToo movement has made. I am still very skeptical about her allegations, given the timing, the way she has changed her story, her checkered past, her praise of Putin, and the fact that nobody else has made similar allegations. But a 1993 video of her mom calling Larry King and a neighbor (who seems to be a legit Democrat) who remembers her talking about this in 1995-1996 make it hard to completely dismiss this as a GOP or Putin hack job. I don't think Biden did this, but he himself said that women who make these allegations deserve the benefit of the doubt. This puts us in a tricky position, and I think some people who support Biden are being short-sighted by shouting down anyone who brings this up.

The former Senate aide who accused Joe Biden of sexual assault shared details of the alleged incident in a conversation in the mid-1990s, her former neighbor confirmed Wednesday. ... Lynda LaCasse told The Washington Post in a text message that while she lived near Tara Reade in 1995 and 1996, Reade told her that “Joe Biden sexually assaulted her.” ... “She said that he had put her up against a wall, put his hand up her skirt and his fingers inside her,” LaCasse said.

She did not offer other details, referring The Post to Business Insider, which published an interview with LaCasse on Monday. The Post repeatedly left messages seeking to interview LaCasse, but she did not reply until Wednesday’s text.

“I am a very strong Democrat, and am supporting Joe Biden during this election,” LaCasse said in the message. “I believed Tara at the time she told me that Mr. Biden assaulted her, and I continue to support her now. I feel that the truth needs to be told.”

Biden has not commented about Reade’s accusation, despite growing calls by Democrats to do so, and he has declined requests for an interview.
